Dr Aron is a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia, currently working at Kuwait Hospital. In this role he is Chair of the Emergency Medical Committee and the senior clinician overseeing quality and governance.
During his training in London teaching hospitals, he achieved UK postgraduate accreditations from the Royal College of Medicine, Royal College of Anaesthetists, Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) . Subsequently, he served as a Consultant at St. George’s University Hospitals’ General and Cardiac Units, and Cleveland Clinic London. His clinical special interests include echocardiography, haemodynamic monitoring, care of the cardiac surgical patient and acute heart failure. Dr.Aron is an Honorary Senior Lecturer for the City of London University. He is Head of Examinations for the European Diploma of Echocardiography (by ESICM) and is on the Expert committee. As medical director of SLICE, an education society training ultrasound and echocardiography internationally, he runs regular courses at basic and advanced levels. He has held previous roles of Head of Department, Faculty Tutor and member of the London Shock Board.
